• Shot blasters: Shot blasters are ideal to prep flooring for overlays and coatings. Features include height-adjustable handles with built-in controls and front swivel casters for easy maneuvering.
• Shot magnets: Our shot magnet sweepers feature quick-release handles and offer a 5.5-inch to 24-inch working width. These sweepers are effective in picking up various types of metal debris, including shots and nails.
• Scarifiers and planers: Offering up to 700 square feet of production per hour, Herc Rentals' scarifiers and planers level, remove and texturize surfaces using a single-step method.
• Scabblers: Available in walk-behind and handheld models, Herc Rentals' scabblers work to roughen and level concrete and prepare flooring surfaces for coating and finishing. Our scabbler equipment offers a per-hour production rate of up to 250 square feet. 
• Sanders: Designed for a wide range of applications, sanders buff out rough spots and prepare flooring for paint, finishing and coating. Our sanders are available in multiple sizes and are easy to operate.
• Dust control vacuums: Herc Rentals' dust control vacuums are strong and durable for industrial applications and work well to pick up excess dust caused by grinding, sawing, coring and drilling. All our dust control vacuums meet or exceed OSHA standards. 
• Wet/dry vacuums: Our wet-dry vacuums offer tank capacities of 3.7 to 12.5 gallons. Suitable for wet and dry use, these vacuums efficiently pick up water, dust, dirt and debris.
• Floor sweepers: Herc Rentals' floor sweepers come in both battery-powered walk-behind and propane industrial rider models. The sweepers collect dirt, dust and other debris in an easy-empty hopper, and they're simple to operate, clean and maintain.
