No. Existing agreements with either Herc Rentals or H&E Rentals remain valid. If your company holds contracts with both, your Sales Rep or our support teams will work behind the scenes to ensure alignment. Later this year, we'll provide opportunities to streamline contracts if needed, but no action is required from you now.

Your existing pricing remains in place. When former H&E Rentals' branches transition to Herc Rentals systems, they'll adopt Herc standard processes for pricing and discounts — but any adjustments will be managed carefully with your Sales Rep, and no changes will be made without communication.

If you're an existing H&E Rentals customer, you'll eventually begin using ProControl by Herc Rentals™ – instead of Connect – to manage your account. This will occur once your branch transitions to Herc Rentals systems later this summer, but we'll be sure to offer advance communications and training.
For now, you will continue using your current H&E systems for now. We will transition your account soon, but we will communicate proactively first.

As part of our transition to Herc Rentals, you may begin to see standard ancillary fees or surcharges on your invoice once your account is fully migrated. These charges are part of Herc Rentals’ consistent billing practices and help cover services that support your rental experience.
Common ancillary charges include:
- • Rental Protection Plan (RPP): Optional coverage that limits your liability for accidental damage. You may opt out with proof of qualifying insurance – i.e., a validated Certificate of Insurance.
- • Environmental Fee: Supports safe waste handling, environmental compliance, and sustainability efforts.
- • Delivery and Pickup Fees: Applied per transaction to cover logistics and equipment transport.
- • Fuel Charges: Applied if equipment is returned without being refueled.
